PIT BOSS — GRILLS & SMOKERS
A grill is a ten-year decision that people make in ten minutes. These are the six Pit Boss models we keep on the floor, what each one is genuinely good at, and who tends to be happiest with it.
Pellet cooking gives you the flavor of wood with the convenience of a dial — set the temperature, and the hopper feeds the fire for you. That is the whole appeal: real smoke without babysitting a fire for six hours. We stock a spread rather than a wall of near-identical units, so the choice is about your space and your cooking, not about decoding model numbers.
The one most people should buy
1,300 square inches of cooking space, digital control and enough room to run a brisket and sides at the same time. If you host, this is the one you will not outgrow.
Pellet flavor, anywhere
Battery powered, so it does not need an outlet. Tailgates, job sites, campsites and small balconies.
Simple and hard to break
No electronics, no hopper. Charcoal, a grate and a lid. The one that lives in the truck.
Breakfast, smash burgers, everything flat
A flat top changes what you cook outside — eggs, pancakes, onions, smash burgers. The lift-off design means it stores flat when the season ends.
Volume without footprint
Six racks stacked upward instead of outward. Ribs, jerky and large batches in a footprint that fits a corner of the patio.
For after dinner
Airflow design that burns cleaner, so the evening does not end with everyone smelling like a campfire. Not a cooker — a reason to stay outside longer.
The table top or the Pit Stop. Both are genuinely portable and neither needs a dedicated spot.
Horizontal versus vertical. The 1300 gives you a wide, flat cooking surface; the Navigator 6 gives you six stacked racks in less floor space. Wide cuts and searing favor the 1300, batch smoking favors the Navigator 6.
